Your Journey
The Royal Horticultural Society’s Sandringham Flower Show, set in the grounds of the King’s magnificent Norfolk palace, is far more than just another garden event.
It’s a unique day out offering not only the best in horticulture but also excellent family entertainment.
And don’t be surprised if you bump into green-fingered King Charles and Queen Camilla. They are the Royal patrons and by tradition always drop in.
Now in its 142nd year, the show has grown to be one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the East of England.
It attracts around 20,000 visitors, who are also able to visit Sandringham Gardens and Sandringham Church, which both border the showground.
Sandringham House has been the Royal Family’s favourite retreat since Queen Victoria bought it with 20,000 acres of land for £220,000 in 1862.
The late Queen Elizabeth II loved to spend Christmas there every year and King Charles has inherited her affection for the place.
We are sure you too will fall in love with Sandringham before, after a blooming lovely day out, boarding the Northern Belle for another glass of champagne.
Then, as our resident musicians serenade you and our onboard conjuror gets up to his tricks, a sumptuous six-course dinner will be served during the leisurely journey home
